Ian McFarland

IAN MCFARLAND has both a physiotherapy and physical education degree along with a post graduate diploma in sports and exercise in science. Ian has such credits as Physiotherapist to Hawthorn Football Club (1994 - 1995), Subaru and Ford World Rally Teams (1997 - 1998) and was a volunteer physiotherapist at the Sydney Olympics. Ian treats a variety of sports and orthopaedic injuries and has a special interest in knees and shoulders.

 

 

Catherine Knight

 

 

 

CATHERINE KNIGHT is a qualified physiotherapist, graduating from Melbourne University. Catherine is interested in sports and spinal injuries.  She is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in sports physiotherapy.  Catherine also runs our Pilates classes on Thursday evenings.

 

 

 

 

 

Ben Janson

 

 

BEN JANSON has recently joined the Box Hill Physiotherapy team and brings a passion for sports physiotherapy, being a keen footballer himself.  Ben's analytical skills make him a valued member of our team.

Paul Ness

PAUL NESS is a qualified APA Sports Physiotherapist having a physiotherapy degree and a post graduate diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. Paul treats a wide variety of injuries and has a special interest in tennis injuries (especially shoulder injuries and tennis elbow) and has been a physiotherapist to the Australian Open Tennis Tournament since 1997. Paul works part time for the ATP Tour at various tournaments around the world.  Paul was also a Physiotherapist for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester 2002.

 

Helen Connor

HELEN CONNOR has a degree in physiotherapy and a post graduate certificate in continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Helen's special interest is in men's and women's health with respect to the pelvic floor. Also management of conditions affecting women in pregnancy and postnatal period, eg: back and pelvic pain prevention and management of osteoporosis. Helen also has extensive experience in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions including joint replacements and amputation.


 

Peter Vitale

PETER VITALE joined Box Hill Physiotherapy in 2008.  He has a keen interest in soccer looking after junior state teams and previously a state league team.  Peter's enthusiasm for his work is fantastic and he is a valued member of the team.

George Fornalski

GEORGE FORNALSKI is a qualified massage therapist. He has extensive experience in sports, therapeutic and relaxation massage. George has recently been on the Commonwealth Games Team working in the polyclinic treating athletes from around the world.  George is also an experienced teacher of massage.
